Shaftless Smart Home Elevator
A shaftless smart home elevator is a self-contained two-floor lift that needs no hoistway and no pit — it stands in the room and cuts through the floor above. It carries 200 kg, or two to three people seated, and installs in a small space. Prawita Karya supplies and installs them in Indonesia.
What to know about shaftless smart home elevator
Every other lift on this site needs somewhere to go: a shaft, a pit, an overhead. This one brings its own enclosure and stands on the finished floor, so the only structural work is the opening it passes through.
That makes it the answer to a house where a lift was never planned for and cannot now be built in — an existing home, a tight corner, a single flight between two floors. It is sized accordingly: two floors, 200 kg, and an oval car for two to three passengers with a chair as standard.
It is slower than a traction lift at 0.2 m/s, and the door is manual. Over one floor that matters less than whether the lift can be installed at all.

Common questions
Does a shaftless home elevator need building work?
Far less than a conventional lift. There is no hoistway to build and no pit to excavate; the lift stands on the finished floor and passes through an opening cut in the floor above. That opening is the structural work, and it needs an engineer to size and trim.
How many floors can a shaftless home elevator serve?
Two. It is designed for a single flight, which is the situation it exists for — if you need three floors or more, a traction home lift in a shaft is the right product instead.
What happens in a power cut?
It carries UPS backup power, returns automatically to the bottom floor, and has a manual lowering function as a last resort.
