Project scope
Nivara Kemang is a townhouse development in Kemang, South Jakarta. Prawita Karya installed sixteen Tenkai V300 home lifts serving five floors. The V300 is Tenkai's battery-driven model and Prawita Karya's own home lift brand; it needs a pit of 300 mm, which is the figure that decides whether a lift fits a house that was not designed around a conventional elevator shaft. The V300 runs on a permanent-magnet synchronous gearless machine of about 1.1 kW and takes a single-phase 220 V supply, which is what an ordinary house already has. Its battery will carry the car about 250 floors at full load with the mains off, which in Jakarta is less a convenience than the reason the model gets specified. Prawita Karya maintains the lifts across the development.
